Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about working with K12 Talent Partners.

What types of districts do you work with?

We work with any K-12 public school district in the United States. Our sweet spot is mid-size districts (5,000-25,000 students) that want to move from reactive HR operations to strategic talent management. We also work with charter schools and CMOs.

How long do engagements typically take?

It depends on scope. A focused Talent Strategy Sprint takes 4 weeks. Comprehensive strategy development takes 8-12 weeks. Implementation partnerships run 3-12 months. We'll talk through what makes sense for your district on the discovery call.

What does the discovery call cover?

We spend 30 minutes understanding your district's current talent challenges, what you've tried, and where you want to go. We'll share how our framework applies to your situation and whether K12 Talent Partners is the right fit. No sales pressure — just a real conversation.

What makes K12 Talent Partners different from other consultants?

We're the only firm combining K-12 specialization, an analytics-first approach, and right-sized solutions for mid-market districts. We combine the research rigor of TNTP, the analytics expertise of PowerSchool, and the implementation focus of Bellwether — at a fraction of the cost and delivered in weeks, not years.

Do you work with charter schools?

Yes. Our framework and solutions apply to any organization responsible for recruiting, developing, and retaining K-12 educators — including charter schools, CMOs, and education nonprofits.

Do I need to prepare anything for the call?

No preparation required. It's helpful if you can share your district's approximate size (student count, staff count) and your top 1-2 talent challenges, but we can figure that out together on the call.
